Turkey’s government spokesman, Numan Kurtulmus, said at a religious symposium that the “terrorist organisations working under the name of Islam” and the “dark lobby against Islam” are “managed by the very same hand.”
The spokesman said that one should not speak of Islamophobia but of “an enmity against Islam.”
“Unfortunately, the almighty and holy name of Islam is being used to kill, terrorise, burn down cities and erase the wonders of the world,” he said.
“We will show and tell people that ‘Islam is this, true Islam is this’,” Kurtulmus said insisting that “the interregnum the Islamic world is currently living through will come to an end” and that “the Islamic world soon will reach fullness and the beautiful days of the culture of wisdom.”
“The Islamic world will reach much further in all areas such as science, art, literature, and technology,” he promised.
