“As long as 80 million hearts are ready to rise as the sun for their nation, their flag, their prayer, and their freedom, no one can bring us to our knees,” Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a public opening ceremony in Istanbul on Saturday.

The Netherlands cancelled Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu’s flight into Rotterdam today. The foreign minister was supposed to travel to the country for a meeting with Turkish expatriates on the upcoming constitutional referendum in Turkey.

The president commented on the Dutch government’s decision to withdraw landing rights for the Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu in the Netherlands saying, “They are such cowards, they are Nazi descendants, they are fascists”.
