The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have taken another two villages from the Islamic State (IS) group in northeastern Syria according to reports.
The villages of Mulihan (Molihan) and Bedraniye were liberated from the jihadist group after 2 days of severe clashes, said local ANHA news agency. Hundreds of landmines planted by IS in Bedraniye are being cleared following clashes.
The 3rd phase of the Wrath of Euphrates operation to take IS stronghold Raqqa was launched on 4 February by the Kurdish-Arab SDF and affiliated groups.
Reports suggest the SDF has reached with 18 miles of central Raqqa on the 8th day of the operation.
