Turkey’s opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) has said it will object to two thirds of ballot boxes regardless of whether a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ vote is victorious in the country’s constitutional referendum.

A tweet from the left-wing political party’s official Twitter account read: Regardless of whether the result is a yes or no the HDP is going to object to two thirds of ballot boxes. According to the figures we have there is 3 or 4 point manipulation.

The main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) has also said it will object to 60% of the ballot according to an independent lawmaker.
Unofficial results from state-run media suggest the ‘Yes’ vote has won by a small margin of 1.3%.
