The US-led coalition did not conduct strikes near Deir ez-Zor in Syria on Wednesday that reportedly hit terrorists’ chemical weapons, coalition spokesperson Col. John Dorrian said.
“[Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman] has seen the reports from SANA alleging @CJTFOIR strikes near Deir Ezzor Weds–not true! Intentional misinformation…again!” Dorrian said in a Twitter post on Thursday.

The Syrian news agency SANA reported that a US strike on Wednesday had hit toxic chemicals compiled by Islamic State (banned in Russia) near Deir ez-Zor, killing hundreds of people.
